Stage Rules

Couples in this category each perform one tango to their selected music. All entrants in this category will automatically be accepted to participate in the Australian Tango Championship semi-finals on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007.

In the Tango Stage category, each couple shall dance once, with music selected and provided by the couple in CD format, for a period not exceeding four (4) minutes. Since the Judging Panel shall evaluate the variety of choreographies presented, it is recommended that contestants use different choreographies for the Semi-finals and Finals of the Championship, although this point is not mandatory.

Contestants must provide the Project Manager with a CD of their music by Friday 30th March, 2008. This music is to be sent to:

Sandy Grant,

Project Manager,
